Nikita season 2 Episode 1; Game Changer

Nikita and Michael plan to take down Division and Oversight, using the contents of the black box to help them with their mission. Amanda is now leading Division, but Oversight has assigned one of their agents, Sean, to keep a close watch on her. Amanda's first mission is to retrieve the black box from Nikita, and she pursues Alex's help in the mission. Alex refuses to cooperate until Amanda tells her she will help her find the man who killed Alex's father. Meanwhile, Nikita and Michael receive help from an unlikely ally during their mission.

Birkhoff! Division’s former hacker reveals himself as the white-collar crook, having stolen money from bank accounts over the world for a very long time. Now a hefty billionaire, he makes it at the nick of time (with flying machine-gun equipped drones) to help Nikita and Michael escape an epic and gruelling motel parking shoot out. Even better, he makes it known to Division that he is in fact helping the two and challenges their hackers to just try to best him.

As for Alex, she’s still working for Division and it’s hard to tell where her true allegiance lies. We know she wants to get revenge on her father’s killer, but will she do so if that means taking down Nikita? We also learn that her mother, Katya, who is presumed dead, was also quite the badass as Percy points out. I have a sneaking suspicion that she’s not dead, though it’s no more than a hunch at the moment.

But speaking of Percy, he’s part of where the biggest game change went down, as we discover his feud with Amanda, rather the battle of evil versus more-evil battle, has reached new heights. As of now, you can consider the latter the winner as we learn that not only has she made a successful coup for the big office and taken over for him as the Head of Division, but that she’s also locked him away in the basement. His only insurance policy is the fact that his death would alert the remaining black box guardians to air Division and Oversight’s dirty launch out to dry in the public eye. Locked away yes, but don’t count Percy out.
